Just a casual Marvel fan who admires their Pixar-like run of successful movies, both critically and commercially. I'd be a DC fan if they put out a good product. So far, I've been underwhelmed.

Did you just confuse Israel with Saudi Arabia? They're both in the Middle East, but there's a world of difference between the two countries. Israeli women can dress however they like.

If you wore a skirt like that to High School, you'd be sent home. DC had the opportunity to portray WW as a truly empowered woman, unshackled by the need to titillate men at every turn. They failed miserably with that sex-kitten outfit. Offensive to some, disappointing to others.

I’d be more of a MCU fan too if they actually made female superhero movies and didn't make them to be secondary characters and love interests for males. Marvel have taken 20 movies just to make one with a female superhero as the lead and that is despite Carol Danvers (Ms Marvel) and Jessica Drew (Spider Woman) not only being their 2 biggest selling female superheroes but having higher sales than a lot of their obscure male superheroes that have movies and TV shows or movies and TV shows that are currently in development all ‘cause the executives have hid behind the failure of movies like Elektra, Catwoman and Supergirl. One that was tied down to a movie that was so horrible the main star quit and calls it the worst movie he has ever made and should have never went through, the other being based on a script for a completely different movie that was lightly edited and had the ‘Catwoman’ name slapped on it after Michelle Pfeiffer and Tim Burton pulled out of the original movie and the third the actual writers admit was never taken seriously and was written as a spoof.

In less than 5 movies DC have already made ‘Wonder Woman’ which has been a huge success and they have announced Batgirl and Gotham City Sirens coming out next and Geoff Johns has said they have plans to make more female superhero movies due to the success of Wonder Woman which will most likely include Supergirl, Black Canary, Birds of Prey, Raven, Starfire, Zatanna, Batwoman, Power Girl etc but Marvel can’t even make a Black Widow movie when they have had 20 movies to do it…

We know who the sexist company is and many journalists are pointing it out now. Hopefully that changes 'cause a lot of Marvel fans who want female superhero movies too deserve to get them and shouldn't be controlled by sexist executives who are threatened over strong powerful and sexy female leads and you can argue all you like about the costumes and compare them to strippers which is slut shaming strippers too - a job my friend had when she was in Uni but just a little fun fact for you with, Cosplay is very popular and some cosplay models now make more money than Playboy models without even posing nude which is more money than you will ever see so what you call insulting is actually sexy and empowering in an industry where we make more than men.
