Same here. Even the finale with an older Kevin saying his dad passed away always gets to me.

I couldn't stand Winnie because she was always emotionally stunted, but it makes sense for a child to lose a sibling due to being killed in combat.

Speaking of Winnie, Kevin should have stopped pursuing her in the early seasons. I always shipped Madeline Adams (Julie Condra). She just seemed like the perfect girlfriend. I always thought it was stupid of him to keep chasing after Winnie, but as a child, he probably didn't understand what kind of affect her bother dying had on her.

BTW, after the series had ended some years later, I never knew Daniel Stern was the narrator. It shocked me when the villain from Home Alone (1990) was the guy telling the story, LOL!
