As a fellow transcendental meditator, I reached a higher level of consciousness and met David Lynch on a parallel wavelength. He instructed me as follows: "To those of little faith regarding the direction of the show, channel your negativity to a higher purpose. If unable to complete this task, contact a Showtime customer service representative, who will overnight a complete dvd series box set of The Big Bang Theory, along with a signed collector's edition of Paul Blart, Mall Cop. Namaste."
Started out very promising. Now it's getting nowhere. Hope things will change soon or I will wrap this show in plastic and dump it.
- Nowhere? We just got, like, 75% of Twin Peaks' mysteries explained to us in a single episode (ep. 8). I say, slow down!
I am loving the new Twin Peaks! David Lynch along with Frost is a master of film. The last episode did haunt me a bit. But, it keeps me wanting more. Lynch is always keeping us wanting more! Thank you Mr Lynch!
Finally David Lynch has creative control over his show. It's about time Twin Peaks was made how it was intended to be. Don't get me wrong, I love the original two seasons, but this season far exceeds the previous. This season may not be everybody's cup of tea, but for the rest of us DL fans, it is perfect.
- This season transcends television, film, literature and even time and space. Best television ever!
Sounds perfect for everyone complaining about the new season. They can go back and relive the past like a former high school quarterback who ended up working in the custodial sciences in the same town he grew up.
one of the best hours of television in decades. it says so much that Lynch was capable of telling a far more structured plot through real surrealism (not the quaint whimsical Hollywood type) with very little dialogue, than most can through words
Twin Peaks Episode 8 will cure diseases and will be a miracle of the Gods to behold. Episode 8 will be the answer to life secrets that man have been wondering for centuries. Many people will wear their underwear on their heads for a week after experiencing this orgasmic blessing of epic proportions.
You can clearly tell who loves that Eraserhead feeling and who doesn't or hasn't seen it and thus isn't familiar with it, based on the reactions to this episode
An episode that will remain in the history of television series. An episode that will never be forgotten! The most beautiful episode that I have ever seen. David Lynch you are the craziest and most intelligent director in the world. Or surely one of the best. There will not be many other directors like you!
But I guess there's the occasiona poster who will be honest such as this one;
14 minutes of plot development, 45 minutes of avant-garde grade A dumpster trash.
