he goes missing half the game - this is fine as an old school striker - the owens , the shearers, the rauls etc - but in this day an age? his work rate is half of kanes and all other strikers i mentioned above.
kane was key passing, assiting , playing comboinations all over setting up erikson , alli and sun.
he isnt even greedy. - but when he shoots he strikes it like ibra on some occasions and on target.
lukaka, fck knows - lazy sod for me. wont fit in.
that is only my opinion - i may be wrong.
You honestly think Defoe would have scored 25 goals last season for Everton at age 34, when he hasn't even scored over 20 in his career? You're wrong. Same with Benteke. Rashford has barely started his career and has yet to score more than 5 in a season. How on earth can he be ahead?
Lukaku has clearly demonstrated through what he's done in the PL that he's ahead of those 3.
Only Kane, Aguero and Costa are ahead of him as strikers in the PL. Sturridge might have been among them had he remained more injury-free. And Sanchez I still don't consider as a striker, even though as a player I'd have him above them all in the PL at this moment.
so my list is exatly the same as yours but i kind of mix 10,'s with 9's as a striker today you have to build up and press defence.
my list
agureo
costa
kane
sanchez
alli
(i would put erikson in but he is much more of a ozil- the §tactical player that can whip a ball in and score long range efforts... and he doesnt get the credit he deserves(erikson) due to the two english plqyers
lukaku
giroud(has so much skill - yet i have seen snails with more work rate)
defoe
benteke
lukaku has the ability
but i was basing lukaku on what he has done so far not potential - but then mouriniho will not allow him to become an absent striker - he will make him press. so it could be a very good move in retrospect.
