He claims female superhero costumes look ridiculous when they’re translated onto screen but he overlooks the fact that male superhero costumes look silly too
Fortunately, they don't. ... and neither do you.
Namor, Hercules, He-man, Robin... there are quite a lot. Even the fully clothed male superheroes have spandex so tight and so thin that'd they'd be completely inappropriate in real life. Majority of male costumes are so thin and tight that you can even see their veins popping out of the suit. Heck there's a reason why they could never translate Batman's comic costume to the big screen. It's because it would look too silly if they copied it exactly.
