The Band Wagon is my favorite Astaire film, bar none. And I always laugh at the "Triplets" number! Oh I had seen that as a kid, back when I didn't understand English! Saw it last week and busted out laughing at the very unPC lyrics! Something about want to point a gun and shoot the others? LOL! My favorite was the film noir dance number. I LOVE how men talk in film noir! I posted the lines up above. Yes, the lines to "Triplets" are hilarious. "How I wish I had a gun. A widdle gun. Then I could shoot the other two, and I would be just one!" |
