Sod off. You're not trying to exchange ideas with me. You're talking down to me and I won't put up with it. I don't need to prove you wrong, because I would care less about your approval. Its less than meaningless. I'm not trying to talk down to you at all. At no time was I the one to call you names, curse or tell you to "sod off." I'm also not asking for your (or anyone's) approval for anything. I'm sorry that you feel that way! Do you realize that this entire conversation consists of: Me saying that the real method for having first-hand knowledge of something.....is to actually have first hand knowledge of something. This is in response to you saying...to have first-hand knowledge of something, you can sometimes rely on second-hand knowledge of something. Do you not see why the point of this conversation is really what's silly and meaningless? If I misinterpreted the information that you're trying to convey, then I guess that's on me! There is no real method. Reading about a show is more than enough to tell someone if they'll like it or not. I don't have to watch every show I've ever heard of to decide if I'm interested. Yes, any conversation with you is silly and meaningless. I don't need first-hand knowledge to know the series jumped the shark when they decided every companion The Doctor ever had ended up as a Cyberman thanks to "Missy."
