I'm gonna rate in the release order of his work,
Bad Boys - 7/10
The Rock - 8.5/10
Armageddon - 7/10 ( It's something of a childhood favorite)
Pearl Harbor - 6.5/10
Bad Boys 2 - 7.5/10 (BB1 has the better script, but BB2 is just crazy on a technical and spectacle level, and Lawrence and Smith seem to "click" more, feels like the original on steroids)
The Island - 7/10
Transformers - 8/10
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - 5/10
Transformers: Dark of the Moon - 7/10
Pain & Gain - 7.5/10
Transformers: Age of Extinction - 6/10
13 Hours - 8/10
Transformers: The Last Knight - 6.5/10
I think he is better when working with R-rated material, you would think being more restraint would be a good thing for him, but I don't think something like Bad Boys 2 could've worked as a PG-13, and while they may not have worked in a Transformers or Pearl Harbor, some of the jokes featured in those would feel right at home in a Bad Boys.
