not too well versed in Bay's films, but.... 1.Transformers 1 - 7/10 2.Armageddon - 7/10 3.Pain and Gain.....idk how to rate this film.......as film itself.... 6.5.....but as a disgustingly tone deaf film about true events....I don't know.....I just don't know... 4.Bad Boys - 6/10 5. The Island - 5.5/10 6.Transformers 2 -5/10 7. Transformers 3 - 4/10 can't properly rate Transformers 4 since I have and can only watch it in segments, and have never seen Bad Boys 2, The Rock (well sorta) or Pearl Harbor. Pain & Gain's not an easy film to watch and judge, its divisive but for a Bay film its a very different type of "divisive", as in there can be serious debate over its content and presentation and its portrayal of real life events and not just on a basic "good or bad, pick one" type of way that's common with most of his films, which makes it all the more "interesting". I really liked the film, but think a TV mini-series would've suited the story a bit better because there were more people involved and more crazier details they glossed over for runtime - For instance, the reason why they decided to kidnap Marc Schiller( Viktor Kershaw in the film) during the day time in outfit was because they intended to kidnap him on Halloween night, however they decided to get wasted and party hard at a strip club instead.
