I agree. Thing is, it's also been going on every single year for many thousands of years. "Party and play" is a default human behaviour.
That's debatable. One of your pals (graham, I think it was, but I'm not sure)) told me that wherever the moon is in the sky it is natural for the moon to be there. If you agree, then yes, all is as it should be.

What I have said is that the only way the moon/sun could be radically off is if the Earth's axis was hugely tilted, and that the effects of this would be immediately unmissably obvious to pretty much everyone in the world. "Where has the sun gone?" / "Where has the night gone?" would be just about the only thing all seven billion of us were talking about.
Since this has not happened, we can rest assured that the sun and moon are where they should be and you just made mistake.
