I wasn't sure if you meant him. He is also already dipping into the drug dealer lifestyle. Literally. That pool was nice. It's weird how this show felt very un FX like as well if that makes sense possibly. Usually an FX show has a degree of pulp or an idiosyncrasy as well, this feels like it could be made for a number of stations. I thought it captured the 80's pretty well or at least the 80's we've seen from 80's movies. John Singleton has a great feel for gritty hood life drama. |
