Wednesday 30 May 1973 TV schedule for the city of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
The schedule is a mix of American, Australian and British shows.
Viewers in Brisbane had a choice of three commercial stations and one non-commercial station.
Unlike in the US, the non-commercial station also showed straight-forward entertainment, such as "My Favorite Martian".
Note: Australian television was still black-and-white at the time. It switched to colour in 1975.
Unfortunately, some of the shows on the schedule are lost, and not just the game shows. Prime-time soap "Number 96" did not have its episodes kept until around 1975, and most episodes of the popular prime-time soap "Bellbird" are also lost. Pop music show "GTK" is an odd situation, the original video-tapes are lost, but many segments (shot on film) survive from the show. The American series "Love is a Many Splendored Thing" is also largely lost.
