I was coming back from an exhibition NHL game between the Leafs and Sharks. I was 12 years old at the time. We were sitting on the TTC subway and they announced over the PA system that the Blue Jays had just won the World Series in 1992. That was when I became a bigger fan of baseball than hockey. That moment is just embedded in my mind. Always fascinating to hear how bandwagoners got started. So you heard the team won a Championship and suddenly became a huge fan? Great stuff. Did you see the part where it said I was 12 years old in 1992? Bandwagoners stop watching when their home team starts playing like crap. Did I say I stopped watching after it took over 20 years for the team to make it back to the playoffs?
