Honestly, none. I wasn't paying all that much to baseball until the 1994 season, strike, and World Series cancellation. After that, I paid no attention for another 10 years or so. nihilism isn't honest. I did vote for the Braves finally winning, and monitored the McGuire-Sosa race, though I was convinced at the time that baseball had juiced the balls to get the fans back. I was too busy parenting in the early 90s, so I never saw any of the touch-em-all-Joe series. 94 just sealed the deal because the Bay Area was following Matt Williams' shot at the HR record and then, poof. Maybe running home for the Giants-A's game in 89 and getting thrown around in the quake kept me off baseball for a while. I did root against Steinbrenner.
