Not a fan of this. Don't know who Whittaker is and don't want a female in the role. If you want strong female characters than come up with some strong female characters. To appropriate the gender of an established male character is pure laziness. Buffy and Wonder Woman work and have continued to work because they were written as distinctly females who were empowered by, rather than in spite of, their femininity. This is tit for tat nonsense and is more likely to inspire yawns than cheers. This. Plus this actress was annoying as hell in Broadchurch especially in the second series. I never liked the whole Missy nonsense and this is sounding to be even worse.
