Ever thought of a film scene you remembered but could not figure out, and then find out by sheer accident?
Moi:
-I remembered a ghost story with kinda shitty FX but it was enjoyable, but I could only remember the ending took place over a cliff. Thought it was some TV special. I go through a ton of shit on YouTube, and find Lady in White (1988), and thought, oh cool, I wanted to check that out. Turned out to be the very film I had struggled to remember.
-Recalled opening scene of an F-14 Tomcat taking off from a runway. Knew it wasn't Top Gun, it was older. Remember scenes of a ship encountering freaky storm, and a scene on ship involving fairly bloody shooting. Turned out to be The Final Countdown (1980) (which was cut for some time on video, but now uncut, always rated PG).
-Guy in a cave, ragged clothing, cuts a snake up and feasts on it. Surprised to find out it was Capricorn One.
-Remembered freakish nightmare-inducing scenes involving dude tearing a guy's face off, revealing him to be a lizard; weird scenes with a chick in skintight outfit in some kind of chamber, seeing monsters and shit; and girl giving birth to mutant babies, one humanoid with reptilian tongue, the other reptilian with human eyes and teeth. A couple years later, old man tapes V off TV for me and da bro... Did not think it was a primetime TV show that I knew from merchandise friends owned. 😲
