Some more from the 1950s: "Short Short Dramas" was an experiment at doing a 15-minute (12 minutes minus ads) anthology series. I've seen an episode, it's not too bad. When originally aired it had a host (I don't know her name), but these host segments were deleted when the series was repeated in syndication and seem to no longer survive.
"Telephone Time" had a host. I've seen several episodes where the story is based on a true event, and the host interviews the real-life person at the end of the show. I enjoyed watching the episodes, but it seems non-sci-fi anthology series are the antithesis of what everyone else wants to watch in the 2010s.
"General Electric Theater" was hosted by Ronald Reagan.
