The Specials debut is really hard to beat. Sure Joy Division's debut album was important as fuck...but it really is not a great album. "The Specials," on the other hand, from song one to the last is a remarkable album. As much as I like The Specials, the idea that Unknown Pleasures is not a great album is something I just can't comprehend. |
