With the sequel to the actual graphic novel coming soon, will the DCEU try to put them in their schedule?
I read the original a long time ago. I don't remember anything about it, other than it was good. I'm about half way through re-reading it now and they just fit the DCEU. Obviously they're doing that miniseries on them and Snyder made his own adaptation several years back, but I think that they could add a layer of hopelessness.
I don't know if that's a good thing to you, but I could get behind a Dr. Manhattan appearance. It would mess with the timeline, but it could also add some complexity.
