Dana in one of his happier movies (with Jeanne Crain) State Fair 1945, his singing voice was dubbed, rumour has it that his singing voice wasn't bad, in fact it was very good, too good for the character he played, that's why he was dubbed, plus the movie already had one crooner that shouldn't be outshined (Dick Haymes).
