Joss Whedon's involvement in Justice League will make comparison to his other super hero movies inevitable ... which is going to be a very high hurdle to overcome. Even if Whedon is able to apply his Marvel magic to the follow up to the dismal BvS*, it's pretty inconceivable that it could come anywhere close to The Avengers.
Prior to Whedon, it's hard to imagine JL getting more than 50 - 60 on Rotten Tomatoes.
Marvelizing JL might get it into the 70s.
