That's why I'm afraid. Zach has shown he has his own style and it doesn't appeal to everyone. So enough of the movie is already made with his style all over it. Then JW comes in...and he IS very different. The two styles are completely conflicting as well. This movie could end up being a complete mess. I still don't get why they picked Whedon. They should've gone after someone with a similar style, or used someone that they've already worked with (like Ayer). Whedon is a good director, but he's not good enough for the DCEU to drop what they're doing and contradict their style. JL was already intended to be lighter and more jokey than its predecessors. While I myself initially had mixed thoughts on Whedon reshooting Snyder's film, there's no denying that he's probably more well equipped to handle a film that's intended to be full of lighthearted banter than Snyder is.
