It doesn't really tell an interesting story and just seems like a bunch of scenes thrown together. It's a trailer. Trailers are just snippets of scenes thrown together into a 2 or 3 (or in this case, 4) minute clip and aren't intended to tell the whole story. I wish we had some more snippets of Steppenwolf and lines from him. People complained that the last BvS trailer showed too much Doomsday. Now you're complaining that this JL trailer didn't show enough of Steppenwolf. Make up your mind. We already know that Steppenwolf is the main villain so I prefer that they don't show too much and spoil things. Superman has only been Superman for like 2-3 years in this universe, so all the sudden this reverence for him feels completely unearned. Like the song goes: You never see the light of day Till it goes away You never want a drink of water Till the well runs dry You never miss a real good thingPeople often take things for granted and don't really appreciate things until they're gone. Superman had been saving lives for 18 months. Now that he's gone and no one is around to save people like Superman did, obviously the world is going to miss Superman and is going to remember how great it was when Superman was around to save people. it's going to be tough to to top Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman is 1 of the best CBMs ever made and better than all of MCU's movies and has even been mentioned by several websites as a potential Oscar nominee for Best Picture. So of course it's going to be tough to top Wonder Woman, not just for JL but for any other superhero movie. But that doesn't mean JL won't be a great movie too. LeBron James will never be as great as Michael Jordan, but that doesn't mean LeBron James isn't an all-time great player.
