No, I'm trying to make you see the hypocrisy of labeling the slightest criticism of the MCU as "bitching" and then creating a thread like this on the DC boards. It's not hypocrisy. That's what you aren't seeing. Saying that there are few if any valid criticisms of the MCU doesn't mean that DC doesn't have problems, and I don't know why you're trying to cover that up by calling it hypocritical to say so. I'm not duty bound to accept the DCU just because the MCU gets it right. They have to earn it themselves. It's also deliciously ironic that the humor in this trailer is almost certainly written by Joss Whedon, the very guy who crafted the humor in The Avengers movies, and now you're calling it cheesy... And that's on top of the fact that DC has been heavily criticized for being too dark. Now they have a touch of levity and they aren't serious enough??? |
