Pacino, in the calendar year of his 75th birthday (2014), went Full Senior Citizen with three releases of him as an Oldster in various Oldster Conditions ranging from memory loss and delusions to life crisis to grumpy loneliness. In “Danny Collins” he is a singer trying to revitalize his career; in “Manglethorn” he is a grouchy old man who has alienated everyone around him; in “The Humbling” he is Simon Axler, a famous actor who is melting down and slipping into dementia. Too bad that he has fallen into "Senior" stereotypes.
