For a guy who fellates the MCU all the time... Your comment is very rich (and this is coming from an MCU fan) I do fellate the MCU. It has earned the pleasure. Conversely DC has not and in all seriousness needs a lot of constructive criticism if they are ever going to get to producing a consistent quality product. All I'm saying is that JL looks like a literal live action cartoon without any sort of subtlety or atmosphere. I didn't feel anything watching that like I did with the WW trailer or with DS, SM, GOTG2, Ragnorak, Panther, etc. It just seems like it's another unrealistic tone with a lot of splosions. And my love for the MCU really has nothing to do with it. Praise for one franchise doesn't translate to another, and it wouldn't effect my enjoyment or admiration for them if they were making quality products. I love BB and TDK for instance. Superman Returns plane catching sequence is one of the best things I've ever seen. TDKR was poorly scripted, but I'm certainly capable of praising and enjoying DC productions. They just haven't been any good. |
