Who knows with Hollywood accounting how much a movie really costs--these things are just propaganda anyway.
Wonder Woman was only made because they wanted to pave Clinton's warmongering with various woman warrior movies--Atomic Blonde being another.
They should have made it in the 90s when Lucy Lawless would have been an ideal choice, though even Famke Janssen would have been better than Gadot.
Sorry to say she is really a beta next to those other two gals in their prime.
Terry Farrell from Star Trek would have also been a good WW type.
When I was a little kid in the 1990s, Xena and Hercules came on this channel in my area. I thought Xena and Wonder Woman were the same thing until I was about 9. I couldn't tell the difference, and that was a kid's eye looking at a comic/cartoon image and then seeing Lucy Lawless live action.
