So now DC-Fan wants to know why someone would make a pair of Gauntlets. Hilarious. No, the question is specifically why would the gauntlet maker make a right-hand gauntlet and a left-hand gauntlet Because they were originally just random Gauntlets that Thanos (or someone else who wanted the Stones) later repurposed for Infinity Stone usage.
