Bewitched felt more grounded (sorry...). Jeannie had sex appeal. For just that they're about equal. As to which I preferred as a TV show, I'll take Bewitched. Also, it feels more classic to me, with Jeannie the knockoff, kinda like with westerns: Bonanza got there first, The Virginian followed, then The Big Valley. It's tough to beat the first out of the starting gate. Same with All In The Family, with Maude, The Jeffersons and several other "toipical" sitcoms from the Norman Lear stable. The first is the most fondly remembered.
