Did they state that the godkiller was made by Hephaestus? Cause it wasn't now was it? It was a ruse. So what most people think might not be true. If they don't say he made the lasso it's anyone's guess who made it in the movie version.
But guess what nobody cares. It's irrelevant like who made the gauntlet.
It's just you asking for trouble.
Diana is the Godkiller so the Godkiller was "created" by the union of Zeus and Hippolyta. That was pretty clear in the movie.
And Hippolyta said they received many gifts from the gods (heck, the entire island of Themyscira was created by Zeus himself) so it's pretty clear that Hephaestus forged the lasso and the bracelets just like he forged the other weapons for the gods.
As for who made the MacGuffin guantlets, that's not as important as why the gauntlet-maker made a right-hand gauntlet and a left-hand gauntlet when only 1 gauntlet is needed and the guantlets by themselves are useless without the Infinity Stones. What is the purpose of the 2nd gauntlet if it's useless without the Infinity Stones? Are there 2 power-hungry tyrants who want to rule the universe?
You just assume but really don't know anything.
Assume the gauntlet is made by Thanos himself like in the comics until proven differently and be done with it.
