Did you not pay attention during the movie? Does it need to be spoon-fed to you? The sword was NOT the Godkiller. Diana is the Godkiller.
And no, it's not an assumption that Hephaestus forged the lasso and the bracelets. It's common knowledge that Hephaestus created weapons for the Olympian Gods just like it's common knowledge that Zeus is the King of the Gods, Ares is the God of War, Hades is the God of the Underworld, Poseidon is the God of the Sea, and Aphrodite is the Goddess of Love. Those things don't need to be explained or spoon-fed because it's common knowledge.
If Thanos made the gauntlets himself, why did Thanos make a right-hand gauntlet and a left-hand gauntlet when only 1 gauntlet is needed and the guantlets by themselves are useless without the Infinity Stones? What is the purpose of the 2nd gauntlet if it's useless without the Infinity Stones?
Common knowledge as in the real world? That's bullshit. They change a lot of stuff in the comics and movies. And I know Diana was the Godkiller, the sword was just a MacGuffin. As you are so desperate to know about mcguffins I want to know who made that sword. And the bracelets and the lasso and the shield. Hephaestus didn't made the sword did he make the other stuff or are just fakes as well? As for the gauntlets he made a lot of them before settling in a design he liked. If you are going to make stuff up I'll just do the same. The sword is just a regular Amazonian sword. It wasn't the Godkiller or a MacGuffin. Hephaestus didn't make the sword because the sword wasn't the Godkiller. Hephaestus forged the lasso and the bracelets, which aren't fake because (unlike Peter's missing Spider-Sense in SMH) we saw the lasso and the bracelets in action in WW.
And if Thanos made the MacGuffin gauntlets, how did Odin get 1 of Thanos' guantlets? Are Odin and Thanos best buddies? Did Thanos give Odin a gauntlet for Christmas?
