I never tried to do that but since the majority of movies i have seen score a 5/10 i would assume my average has to be in that ball park. which must be about right given what i can see quickly on IMDb...

IMDb stats on genres for me... my highest rated genre is 5.57 for the average and the lowest rated genre for the average is 4.71. but outside of that 4.71 genre ALL other genres average a 5.00 or higher for me.

My highest rated genre is 6.6/10.

My lowest rated genre is 5.0/10.
