Vegas ineptly tries to make fun of people he ridiculously thinks seek the approval of other posters. Vegas starts this thread. Yeah, no reason to laugh there at all. But he got the kiddie-fiddler to post the best example of projection we've seen in a week so at least something was accomplished. How is it projection? Pretending to have "linguistic competence" after displaying stunning levels of linguistic incompetence, while telling other posters who have not displayed linguistic incompetence that they lack linguistic competence... That's a textbook case of overestimating your abilities. A good example of the Dunning-Kruger effect. Incidentally: Which subject have I claimed to be particularly competent about? If you can't tell, then we have two examples for your projection of the Dunning-Kruger effect. |
