No, that's just the nostalgia acting as a shield. Put X1 or X2 out in today's environment and they wouldn't do as well, mainly for their cowardly way of telling their stories. lmao... X1 and X2 are all time CLASSICS  that were grown up films for adults.. Dr Cheese and Kid-Man are marvel bubblegum movies for kiddies to chew popcorn on   No, they just appeal to people ashamed of comics. And they have nostalgia shielding them. Put them out in today's environment when people aren't ashamed of comics anymore and they wouldn't do as well. |
