What I was saying was incoherent is the idea that one likes a film but realizes it is bad.

Re "guilty pleasures," I don't have any. I could name films that I like that most other people don't, but I'd have to pay more attention than I normally do to what other people like in order to do that. I'm not someone who usually worries about consensus opinions.
