I know people use the term "so bad it's good," but the idea is incoherent. What it is for something to be good or bad is for someone to like it, to prefer it to alternatives, etc. Insofar as you're enjoying something, that's good to you, it's not bad to you. It might not be the same as other persons' opinions, but different people simply have different preferences. That is also a stupid term. Exactly. Really, both probably usually amount to, "Films I like and I want to say that I like even though I have the sort of friends who'll give me shit for liking certain things." |
