There is the difference. Many people do like movies the actually think are bad. In fact the term "so bad it's good" is used to describe movie that people enjoy because of how bad they are. Guily pleasure is much different though. I think the best way to descibe it is a movie that is dumb fun. I consider movies that are dumb fun to be good movies but they arent good in the same way as an intelligent well written movie is. Furious 7 for example is entertaining because of how idiotic it is imo, and that is a movie that is pretty well liked. Something that actually surprises me. I know people use the term "so bad it's good," but the idea is incoherent. What it is for something to be good or bad is for someone to like it, to prefer it to alternatives, etc. Insofar as you're enjoying something, that's good to you, it's not bad to you. It might not be the same as other persons' opinions, but different people simply have different preferences. Sorry, but I highly disagree.
