If you only have daytime, do you have to fast continually? Some Muslim scholars advise using the day length in Mecca, others to follow the closest country in which night can be determined from day. That could still mean something like a 21 hour fast. What to do if you are devout? You provided the answer yourself. Muslims either follow the timings of Mecca or of a closest country with a reasonable day/night division. Two choices, so which would you select if you were a devout Muslim? |
