Stuart Townsend, Queen of the Damned damned his career Carrie-Anne Moss, The Matrix made her famous, but what has she done for us lately? Natasha Gregson Wagner, Natalie Wood's daughter, did a bunch of movies, then vanished Damon Wayans, the senior, seemed destined for big screen success, but on his own his movies flopped. I was actually shocked when he did that sitcom, he gave up, another sitcom was not funny. Townsend turned down LOTR for Queen of the Damned because he would've been the lead, it would turn out years later his ego did not deflate as he turned down the part of Fandral in the first Thor movie from 2011, simply because it was a supporting role. Had his ego not gotten in the way he'd be A list for sure now, or would have been anyway. Moss seems to be stuck in TV land doubling as a regular on AMC's Humans and as Hogarth in the Marvel/Netflix shows. They're performed well, but they're not as scene stealing as her earlier work in The Matrix and Memento. It's a real shame her career didn't continue to blossom like it should have. I'd like it if Nolan were to cast her in a major part in his next film, for my money she delivered the best female performances in any of his films to date.
