I do! While I liked Shelley Long, I found Diane to be insufferable, especially in Season 4-5. I admit, I like how Sam plays off of her and I like seeing him all riled up and annoyed. But there's a limit to what a man can/should put up with. The writers could have done a better job to stretch out their relationship/lack of relationship without making Diane a terrible character. I was thrilled learning that Long quit after season 5. I'm new to the show (watching on Netflix) and I'm on season 6. I find Rebecca Howe to be a better foil for Sam and I like the shake-up of the new dynamics with her as the boss.
