McGregor will be boxing, not fighting. Unless the fix is in, he has no chance. Now, shine my shoes, you big girl's blouse! You used the word "fight" "The fight will be like Cossell fighting Ali in the ring!" "McGregor will be boxing, not fighting. Unless the fix is in, he has no chance." OK. You corrected yourself. Fine. It is possible the fix is in. How can you be sure Conor Mcgregor "has no chance"? How can you be certain? If the fix is not in Conor has a chance. He is bigger, younger and he punches really hard. Not a good chance. But he definitely has a chance. These 2 are funny and doing a great job promoting the fight. C'mon, he's got no chance. The only way McGregor has a chance, is if a banana skin is thrown into the ring just as the bell goes, Mayweather then slips on said banana skin, cracks his head on the stool and falls into a coma for two weeks. If that is a chance then I guess he does have some chance. I'm not an MMA fan, but I watched a bit of McGregor on youtube, his fights against Nate Diaz. He has two punches in his armoury, a left hook and a straight left, and that's it. He feints with his right, then throws his left. Every time! EVERY TIME! These mutts he has been facing at the UFC need to grow a brain. He doesn't throw combinations, he doesn't have the footwork of a boxer, he doesn't have the stamina, he doesn't have the balance, he doesn't have the movement, he was blowing out of his arse after 8 minutes in the two UFC fights I saw, at which time he was getting caught at will by a tomato can, and that was in both fights, not just the first one which he lost! Even if he did catch Floyd flush, which seems unlikely to me, I don't think he knocks him out, remember they use 4oz gloves in UFC, and even if he did floor him, which is even more unlikely, then he can't just jump on top of him and start pounding him like in the UFC. McGregor is good to watch though in UFC, I can see why people like watching him, he is exciting, none of this wrestling on the floor business, but he is stepping into another world here.
