Arsenal Fan TV on youtube.  You must have seen it?  They get a lot more hits when Arsenal lose. 

I calculated they were making about £325k a year, about a year ago, although youtube have slashed the advertising money since, but they are getting more and more hits.  Still... not bad money, hardly any costs, although it took them quite a few years to get where they did, so I suppose it is something you've got to do out of love.
