They should have made the Super Bowl that year they had Randall Cunningham. I think your perfect field goal kicker missed the one that he needed to make to click the loss if I remember correctly, but that was a good team that year.

Yes, the infamous wide left 36 yd FG after a perfect season kicking the ball. Vikes had only one loss that year before that game. Set a NFL record for scoring and yards gained. When Atlanta lined up for their OT FG I couldn't watch. I went outside and paced, came back in and my buddy was sitting there, his face was white as a ghost. I then knew Atlanta won the game with no words spoken.

Man that was tough.

One consolation, it wasn't 18-1.
