The visuals could be stunning, but many didn't like Ghost in a Shell albeit there are similarities...maschine/A.I. vs. human soul.
Imho Hollywood will lack the ball to create a highly controvertial movie and tries not to cross boundaries but to please everyone.
It will neither be hot or cold but lukewarm.
