While killing a character off doesn't automatically make a movie great or risky or whatever, I think the MCU needs to kill someone off. I want Thanos to be the first Marvel villain that has a sinister and imposing screen presence. Killing Iron Man could help his track record I would say. I think they'll kill one major Avenger in each movie, and maybe one minor one (like Vision). I don't think they'll go further than that. My prediction: Iron Man and Vision (and maybe Hawkeye) die in 3. Cap and Bucky die in 4. Cap can certainly die in 4. I don't think there is any way they are killing Bucky, because they'll want to leave open the option of having him claim the Cap mantle. I'm not saying that will happen, but they won't burn the opportunity for it. |
