Holtz is entertaining on College Game Day in a laugh at him kind of way. If you find his lisp painful on TV you will enjoy this. A frined of mine forced me to listen to Holtz's show on a Sirius golf channel. I almost leaped out of the car after 5 minutes. Listening to golf is worse than watching or playing it. Add Lou to the mix and it could replace water boarding.

I did check his coaching record recently and was a bit surprised to see it was actually pretty damn solid. After the player paying scandal under his ND tenure broke he kind of sucked though.

yeah - Holtz is a legend at Notre Dame and college football lore.

i think it was his teams that went up against Jimmy Johnson's Miami Hurricane teams.

i find him entertaining on ESPN.

that's pretty much i want - hate on Stephen A. Smith, Colin Cowherd, Skip Bayless, etc etc all you want - just entertain me - and Holtz does that - which is rather shocking in a way being what an iconic coach he was - figured he'd be a little more reserved than a cartoon character.
