Well you would have a batter and a bowler, and they just take turns at throwing it at each other.  So you have to be an all rounder.  You'd have to make some slight tweaks to the rules, but you could have tournaments and stuff, like Wimbledon or the US Open, the games could be a lot shorter, would be a lot more fun I think.  I mean it would still be a diabolical sport, but not as diabolical.
