I've heard this ugly term before - Joel Embiid. Had a 'meniscus tear' which was supposed to be nothing to go along with the 'Bone Bruise' and was 'out indefinitely' - aka 'Day to Day'

he never returned last season (that being said i have an opinion they held him and Simmons out when they could have played to position themselves better in the draft)
