Scrub'em hard, brother. Maybe you'll come to believe it in time.
OK, I think you're just playing cute, here, but I'll bite one last time:
Kicked off his entire political presence based on a made up birth certificate hoax that played on the fears of a "secret Muslim" in the Whitehouse.
Dubbed immigrants as "stealing our jobs"... now a couple million worth of crops are rotting in California due to lack of migrant labor.
Wants to "build a wall to stop the drugs" - then moves to resurrect the same "War On Drugs" that kept the process of drug smuggling profitable in the first place. Lines those suit pockets, though!
Tells his voters "These people used to get hurt for this. These people are so bad for our country, folks, so bad..." to arenas full of jeering white folks as black protesters are drug out of the venue (and roughed up more than a little in the process).
So, either you were able to comprehend these statements or you didn't actually pay attention to any of his rhetoric during the campaign.
Neither makes you look particularly good.
But pretending the rise of the KKK and white nationalist movement only HAPPENS to coincide with the above (especially the last) is super-cute. Pretending his endorsement by the KKK and every other white nationalist group in the US is just happenstance is fun times. Whatever makes you feel further from the results. This guy told you what you wanted to hear, you bought it and voted for him, now exactly what he said in his own rallies is being carried out by dudes carrying Nazi flags.
So: had no idea what your man said or just didn't understand it?

Edit: Actually, yeah, I find it less hard to believe, given your love of tabloid fare, that you actually had no idea what the guy you ended up voting for said in his speeches. I don't think anyone is dim enough to not grasp it if they heard it. Stormfront sure did - they're crowing on their own site about how he didn't decry them.
