Please, can a man not wear high heels and a mini skirt without people like you making comments on his appearance? You know what you are, transphobic. For goodness sake Goodman, it's the 21st century! Anyway, he's so 90s, there are loads of Brits killing it at the moment, just off the top of my head, Kevin Bridges, Jason Manford, Sean Locke, Stewart Lee, Dara Ó Briain. Check 'em out. And you know what our 2nd rate comedians do? They end up landing top jobs presenting top American chatshows... while Bill Burr is still doing podcasts in his grundies. You just can't get enough of us! I'm not laughing at Izzard, I'm laughing WITH him. And when one Brit standup ever gets near the fame of Bruce, Carlin, Pryor, Murphy, Rock, Burr, Black etc. then call me. Has the UK done anything genuinely funny since Python? I doubt the average person in Britain has even heard of most those guys. I only do because I watch a lot of stand-up. Only really Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor are well known, and that's really more to do with them being in films. If you asked someone here who the comedian Chris Rock is, and even showed them a picture, they'll probably be more likely to say "oh, is that the guy from Rush Hour III?". And anyway: The Office (you might have heard of Ricky Gervais, he's the British guy you fly over to take the piss out of all your actors) Extras Peep Show Blackadder The Inbetweeners Father Ted Yes Minister The Thick Of It I'm Alan Partridge Red Dwarf Only Fools and Horses The Royle Family The list is endless... So look, it's not my fault Bill Burr's career is going down the pan, and you lot fly British comedians over instead to host all your award ceremonies and all your chatshows because your guys can't cut it.
